Sometimes, I get into a dilemma whether I’ll ever be able to speak English or not; but in the next moment, I realize, why can’t I?
कभी-कभी मैं कशमकश में पड़ जाता हूँ कि मैं कभी अंग्रेजी बोल भी पाऊंगा या नहीं; लेकिन अगले ही पल मुझे महसूस होता है कि क्यों नहीं ?
Nobody in this world is born with a language; whatever we learn, we learn here only. So, how am I different from others? How am I inferior to anybody else?
इस दुनिया में कोई भी व्यक्ति किसी भाषा के साथ पैदा नहीं होता है; हम जो कुछ भी सीखते हैं, यहीं सीखते हैं। तो, मैं दूसरों से अलग कैसे हूँ? मैं किसी और से कम कैसे हूँ?
If I practice speaking every day, if I read English articles every day, if I write something in English on any topic at all, if I devote my 2-3 hours to English every day; I’m supremely confident, I’ll make a difference.
अगर मैं रोज बोलने की प्रैक्टिस करूँ, अगर मैं रोज अंग्रेजी का एक लेख पढूँ, अगर मैं किसी भी टॉपिक पर अंग्रेजी में कुछ लिखूँ, अगर मैं रोजाना 2-3 घंटे अंग्रेजी को दूँ ; तो मुझे पूर्ण विश्वास है, फर्क पड़ेगा।
Today onwards, I will work harder than the hardest. I’ll leave no stone unturned. If I studied for 2 hours earlier, I’ll study for 4 hours now. I’ll double my efforts; it’ll make my achievements two-fold.

Initially, I was too hesitant to speak; especially with my parents and my siblings.

But now things are pretty smooth.

Actually, I had told my parents, “If you wanna see me growing, please co-operate.”

After some reluctance, they finally agreed.

By the way, I had gone to the nearby shop in the morning today; I saw a daily wage laborer there, buying some food grains.
वैसे, आज सुबह मैं पास की दुकान पर गया था, मैंने वहाँ एक दिहाड़ी मजदूर को कुछ अनाज खरीदते हुए देखा।
I had a word with him for a while.
थोड़ी देर मेरी उससे बात हुई।
He was very satisfied with the efforts of Indian government to fight against corona, but was a little worried about how long this lock down may further be extended.
कोरोना के खिलाफ लड़ने को लेकर वो भारत सरकार के प्रयासों से बहुत संतुष्ट था, लेकिन इस बात को लेकर थोडा चिंतित था कि ये लॉकडाउन और कितना आगे बढाया जा सकता है।
Obviously, the poor are the most affected by this.
जाहिर है, इससे सबसे ज्यादा प्रभावित गरीब ही हैं।
Let’s hope, we develop a vaccine soon.
